Once upon a time my siblings and I stopped at a burger ville during one of our excursions. After munching our food and joking for a bit we dared the Pudding, (the youngest) to push some buttons on the music box. Happy to bravely fulfill the dare she glanced through the song listings a minute before finding one she was happy with. Unfortunately for every one in the building the machine was broken due to unforeseen circumstances. The chorus of the Yellow Submarine rolled around with a crashing halt causing every one to flinch and cringe while sinking lower into their seats. Then the yellow part of the song insisted on going through a loop followed by a crash, so for the remaining five minutes of the song we all heard
"Yellow! *crash* Yellow! *crash!* Yellow!" and so on. Poor Pudding refused to try again and the burger ville employees were sending us dark looks, but if they didn't want us messing with the machine they should have put a sign on it or something. At least it wasn't something obnoxious like the credit commercials.
so any how
THE END
I love this story! And it is so wonderfully typical of a gaggle adventure. It reminds me of when my mom got stuck in the Its A Small World ride at Disneyland for a couple of hours. It is enough to drive a person insane (maniacal laughter heard in the background).
