Thank You
A few weeks ago during a church service, our pastor mentioned how amazing the home coming must have been for Jesus. He imagined the angels rushing about to get the throne room ready and God the Father sitting on His throne in anticipation. And then every thing is ready and Jesus gets there and its a huge ginormous party. the music blasts. Angels cheer. The Father steps from His throne to hug His son and says "Good job, Son!". It really is a beautiful picture.
Except one thing stuck in my mind. As my pastor said out loud what he imagined God would say to Jesus, I heard two different words. I heard the physical voice of my pastor say "good job, son" and at the same time i heard another voice say "Thank you, son..." and it stopped me.
God is not some big angry guy in the sky that Jesus had to shield us from his frustration by dying on a cross. God is Father God. He created us because He loves us. And He thanked His son for loving us just as much as He does and for rescuing us from absolute death.

John 15:13
King James Version (KJV)
13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
Jesus became a man and He laid down His life for who both Him and His Father love...us.
Thank you Jesus.

Halooo! I haven't written in a while so here is a quip from me! or more like here is a thought that has been burning holes in my brain for some time.
At our last youth church meeting, we talked some about how in the book of Genesis, God says "Let us make man in our own image." And we talked all about the amazingness of living a life striving to be Christ like.
Also a few days prior to that I participated in a slight squabble with my Gpa about the question of other life out in space besides us humans. His point being, if God is so big and creative why would He make only one lousy earth with one lame race of people, leaving the giant universes empty? And I said, since God is so big and creative and generous, He made only one planet with only one race of people because He loves us so much so that we could have fun exploring the giant universes. But that isn't what my thought is about... I've gotten distracted.
The thought that crashed into my head and is currently burning holes in my cranium is this... Any one who knows my parents knows who I am, simply because I look like them. It's quite easy to connect the dots and form a conclusion. I am made in their image. I have my dad's smile, my mom's eyes. I talk the way they do. I stand the way they do. I even eat the way they do. If I didn't know my parents, I would still look and act like them in some way, shape, or form.
So since we human's are made in God's image and are His own children, with his most basic features and manners even if we aren't Christian's yet, there is no way that Satan can walk up to any person on earth, christian or not, and say "You're mine!" with out a pang of fear and a shudder due to looking his enemy in the face every time...
If someone were to come up to my sister and I saying something like "You're not sisters!" I would answer with a "Pffhahahahahaha!" and "Prove it buddy!"
When Satan comes up and try's to say something like "God didn't make you! what do you think you're doing?"
It now seems easier to answer with "Pffahahahahaha! nice try xp"
yesssssssss... THE END
